Good things take time. Sweet things take love. And building a business takes both. There's something special about watching a dream grow—not just in size, but in purpose, preparation, and possibility. I'm excited to share a wonderful milestone in the Sweet Batter Baked Goods journey: We've officially passed our Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) Home Bakery inspection! Because life's little pleasures deserve a place at the table. Somewhere along the way, we started believing that dessert needed a reason. A birthday. A holiday. A promotion. A celebration. Well, here at Sweet Batter, we're challenging that idea! What if making it through a busy week is reason enough? It begins with clean hands, a carefully prepared workspace, and attention to how ingredients are stored and handled. At Sweet Batter Baked Goods, “It’s sweeter because it’s cleaner” reflects a simple principle: care in the kitchen is part of the finished product. Cleaning, sanitizing, and food preparation each serve a purpose. Cleaning removes food residue and
